    Hey everyone,
I was thinking of painting the outside glass panels of my next vivarium black, and was wondering what paint I should go ahead and use?

    any type really.

cheap bottle craft paint from dollar store works.
i just painted one with a spray bomb flat black ..no name kinda thing. more permanment than cheap craft paint that you can basically peel off if you want with little issue.

i painted bottom 6"or so to hide false bottom and some of the substrate

I prefer Krylon spray paint for the finish, but latex flat black works as well if you don't mind roller or brush marks on the exposed side (it will all look fine through the glass side).

Thank you for your opinions everyone! I will look into both the latex flat black and the krylon spray :)

I have always used stick on black out paper. Just cut it and stick it on. It is self adhesive.
