I have a 36x18x24 viv done, all planted (still looking for a few more plants, namely broms). However, in the interest of not dealing with watering manually, I'd like to get an auto misting system. I know mistkings are the go to standard, however the problem is that my setup is on top of a fireplace and I'd like a setup that is minimal and as compact as possible (like the exoterra monsoons). Theres not really any way to hide cables or large buckets with the way it's set up right now.. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to proceed with this?

I'm no expert but if that's the best option for you go for it. My worry would be that it is above a fireplace if your planning on using the fireplace, that will not be good for the vivarium.

The fireplace is mostly decorative, dont really use it. I might actually jump for the mistking I think now...
