Random other plant thoughts... Anyone ever tried keeping drosera(sundews) or pings(butterwort) with darts? i realize they are sticky but i would imagine that unless the dart is half dead it should be able to pull off the smaller species no? Just thoughts... Figured if anyone has first hand experience with this i would love to hear it....

Not sure how the dew from either plant would affect the frogs, but they definitely wouldn't get stuck unless it was one of the larger Drosera. The pings would definitely do well if in a bright spot. Some do grow on trees and steep rock faces and would be cool to do something like that.

I did a mini one with pings and some tufa rock but it would work equally well on any rock with a crevice of some sort or a hole in a moss covered wall.

haha thanks! I think some pings in there would be awesome, especially because of the size. Some like to flower almost non stop for 6 months when they're happy. Have you been to www.pinguicula.org ? Lots of great photos there.

haha thats a tough one. Hawaiian Botanicals sells some, but no idea if they have any in stock. Keehns Carnivores has some as well. Both have good plants and customer service. Otherwise its mostly private growers, but taking a look at the grow lists on OCPS will give you an idea of what is in Canada.

Looks like it's coming along... I still don't know how you're going to be able to maintain that thing short of climbing in through the top, ha ha.

Wow it's looking great, the tree trunk is awesome!

On my phone so it's hard to tell, but what goes inside the box on the right behind the bark? Pumps/filters maybe?

Consistent misting and I bet in no time they will be covered in moss. Phil sells a moss mix that would probably do the trick even faster than waiting for spores to spread.

Yeah, moss and hanging plants will do the trick for sure.
