After 2 months of quarantine I finally got my group of Rio Colubre pumilio into their final home.
Found a nice fresh clutch after work today. Hopefully they're good, first clutch in their permanent viv.
Do they seem to be good parents so far? Any confirmation of tadpoles? I truly would love to work with these amazing frogs in the future.
Not able to confirm tads yet. I think the two clutches they laid in the temp bins went bad. I'll have to keep an eye on this one!
This caught me by surprise today! @dawndj - guess I can confirm tads now
Terrible photo but didn't want to disturb her.
Beautifull frogs and vivarium !
Is that a tadpole on her back?
Yup, another one this morning!
That is awesome news! Congratulations!
Thanks! Hopefully the other clutch developing now is from a different female. That would be sweet!
First froglet - hopefully more froglets and better photos to come soon too!
