I have both springtails and isopods in my viv, one species of each. I’m curious if others are using more than one species of one or the other in the same tank. If so which combo do you use? Are the populations of each able to compete well or does one type out compete the other?

I think I have 4 different isos and two springs.

Different tanks have different combinations based on what did better in that micro climate. the dwarf white isopods seem to do the best for me.

For the most part, i culture outside of the tanks, and feed when my cultures can handle it.

I also love feeding microfauna collected from outside, this is also a good way to introduce other species of springtails
