Hey guys, here's my first attempts at making a rock wall, carved out of great stuff foam, painted then sealed. What do you think? I'll post more after I add plants

I think that looks pretty good. What materials did you use? How big is the viv?

Thanks Dawn, I used great stuff foam, left over tile grout from a kitchen Reno 3 x layers, acraylic paint, then sprayed with krylon. The rocks actually popped a lot more with detail before I sprayed with Kraylon, it seemed to have made the colours and details all run together?? Perhaps paint wasn't totally dry. It's just a test tank really, 12x12x18 I believe. Next I'm going to take what I've learned and do a 36x18x24 tank.

Wow it looks great for a first attempt. When you do your 36x18x24 would be nice to see some of the step by step progress to completion. What brand of acrylic paint did you use? The rock looks really good. If this was your first attempt can't wait to see how the next one turns out since your first attempt looks this good.

Shoot me an email love to catch up on things.

    Ron.
