Kids caught some bull frogs and they have decided to stay. Loving the constant croaking. Not quite used to it yet. Startles you went you're not expecting it.

First year of significant blooms on our wisteria this year. Hoping it makes its way farther across the arbour this season. Looks promising.
Roses, clematis and a climbing hydrangea so far coming up the backdrop wall. Still some holes to fill.

Looks like our dwarf butterfly bush didn't make it.

Got to get my daughter Charlotte back on the job of adding moss plugs into the cobbled stone areas. This section has really taken hold.

This Chaeonanthis virginicus was planted 13 years ago, the year Charlotte was born.

Replica Jurassic Park doors will be the entrance to "Tortuga Bay"

Stonework has commenced on our outdoor kitchen.

Dutchman's Pipe vine's leaves are slowly getting some size. Longest arm still to be added to the structure.

This pic is another backyard pond in the neighbourhood. I just grabbed a couple handfuls for our pond.
He said there was only one small toad calling. Must have been lots of females that answered, his whole pond was full of eggs. Millions.
    Can't have enough toads.

Our koi must eat ours. I never see tads or eggs in there. I see frogs and toads though!

Took a couple quick shots this morning of some under photographed beauties. The youngest children are always less documented...

Atelopus hoogmoedi from central and South America. We have a 2.1 trio. Have done some research on breeding but haven't attempted anything yet. Need to create fast moving water.
