Amazing build and gorgeous! Love the intricate drift wood, kinda puts small tanks to shame. How many frogs do you plan on having in a couple years? :p Heard about this build from ron while picking up a bromeliad for my tank.

Thanks... I am planning about 20-30 in the tank to start. Each tank size has it merits / challenges. Some smaller tanks are amazing.

    Hello All,

Sorry for the delay in updates again. I have decided to make a slight revision to my office. I will be making an opening in the wall and taking the room away from the closet next to the room. It will allow to keep my other species / babies in 18x18x18 exo terra tanks in the office with me (freeing up space elsewhere in the house). My neighbour builds kitchen cabinets and he will create really simple cabinets form the terrariums. Essentially it will look like 6 tanks built into the wall (2 columns). So until then, I compiled a list of plants that are currently in the tank. So here is the list (a few plants are not on the list as am still trying to find the names... and some with "?" are best guesses):

    Adiantum caudatum
    Aechmea gamosepala
    Alocasia "black velvet" (?)
    Bulbophyllum sp. (unknown)
    Cissus discolor
    Ficus pumila
    Ficus pumila quercifolia
    Ficus punctata ‘Panama’
    Ficus villosa
    Marcgravia sp. (light green)
Marcgravia sp. ‘Burgundy/Bronze’ (just grew its first adult branch)
    Microgramma vacciniifolia (?)
    Microsorum diversifolium
    Neoregelia ‘Fireball’
    Neoregelia ‘Little Brother’
    Neoregelia ‘Mo Peppa Please’
    Neoregelia ‘Walking Tall’
    Neoregelia ‘Wine and Gold’
    Neoregelia ‘Yellow Devil’
    Oncidium sp. (unknown)
    Pellionia repens (?)
    Peperomia puteolata (?)
    Philodendron erubescens 'Red Emerald'
    Pilea glauca ‘Aquamarine’
    Polypodium formosanum

Yes Jan those Alocasia you got from me are Black Velvet. We will have to add a few more things to that tank. I will have some more cool stuff for you in little while:).

So Drew you will have to donate a few orchids to this massive undertaking then they won't feel left out. I did my donations already and will have a few more for him.:) It will then be a group effort.

Also... just checked and the tank is now teeming with critters. The following critters were seeded into the tank:

    Woodlice:
    White tropical (Trichorhina tomentosa)
European (Porcellio scaber) - Slow producing.

    Springtails:
    White tropical
    Silver
    Blue
Giant grey (Tomocerus) - Slow producing, but surprisingly seeing a large number of these.

Long time coming... small update... plants are growing (although not really noticeable in a tank that size haha)... some critters in there and glass is all tightly sealed to prevent escapees. So far so good!

One hell of a great LED lighting system you made. Just look at those broms. They look as good as mine that are grown in full sun. The broms are doing amazing in there. You got those LED lights just right. Can't wait to see it fully grown in with the back all covered in vines. One HELL OF A TANK! Unfortunately my wife draws the line when they get that big. Lucky for you or we would have you over every free minute making us one. ;) I was good seeing your family again. We will have to make it over one day to see you guys and see this creation in person.

    Ron.
