Is it safe to use acrylic paint and the spray nontoxic acrylic sealant on foam sealant part of water features where you have water running over it all day? Will the acrylic paint come off eventually or do you guys find it stays in place? (Just want to double check that it won't peel away and get into the water).

I have read that drylok acrylic sealant has been used successfully in aquarium and vivariums. I can't really comment on longevity as I have not yet worked with it, but I can imagine that staining the drylok sealant with cement stains or acrylic paint and then using the sealant would last longer than painting over the cured drylok sealant with paint.
